A stag party is usually a great time to dress up in all those crazy little outfits which you would otherwise reserve for Halloween. Crazy costumes add some fun to the party, not to mention some good laughs. It is usually a good idea of a prank to dress the groom in the most ridiculous costume ever, and watch him squirm as you parade him in nightclub after nightclub. You can choose, for instance, to dress him as a sexy waitress. If you are really good at it, you are guaranteed some good laughs as you watch him getting hit on by men who think he is a she! Or you can dress him in a fancy little girl’s party dress complete with fairy like wings; or have him walk the streets in nothing else but a borat mankini.
In Stag party Ireland, the idea behind dressing up the groom in a costume is to humiliate him. The more humiliating the better so do not hold back any of those costumes which you think are crazy. And it doesn’t have to be one costume, hell; you can slap him with ten good ones if you can! And do not worry about him slitting your throat open. He is expecting to be pranked anyway and if you do not, then he will be disappointed. So consider this your god given duty- and fulfill it to the best of your ability.
Stag nights come in different themes and there are costumes to suit each particular theme. If you are going for an air force theme, you can buy combat regalia. Alternately, if your theme is the sixties or the seventies, you can dress like a hippie or in some other fancy costume. Also, you can choose to have an animal costume such as a gorilla or a fruit costume such as a banana. There is really no limit to the types of costumes available for a stag party and it is a guarantee that regardless of the theme you come up with, you will get a costume that fits that theme perfectly.
Your outfit of choice should reflect your theme but if you do not have a theme then anything goes. Remember, there are no set rules on how a stag party should go and you can come up with anything that you like. Just remember to reserve the most ridiculous costume for the groom and make sure you take as many photos as possible to remind him of the most humiliating night of his life.
