Another advantage of this location is that it is almost in the centre of Matlock itself so is close to the pubs and restaurants.
Another place to consider staying at when visiting Matlock is Robertswood Country House which is less than a mile from the town centre. So you can actually walk to Matlock if you wish. It can be found on the Farley hill side amidst some wonderful woodland it does offer the peace and tranquility that is perfect for helping you to relax. If you’re lucky enough to get a south facing room then you can look out over the Peak District National Park and the Derwent valley.
