Can You Trust all the Talk Surrounding Apple iPhones?

Recognize these famous icons: Edsel, New Coke and Apple Ipod?

Public reviews on Apple’s new iPhone has shown the much anticipated device is not what consumers expected it to be. But in fact, is similar to unpopular Edsel car that was named after a Ford family member who avoided the draft, or the so called, ’New Coke’ which really tasted just like regular Pepsi. Even with a growing amount of dissatisfied customers the Apple iPhone has created an amazing amount of money for the company. Apparently, people were curious about just how bad a cell phone can be.

Does It Blend Well With Others?

In 2007 there was a video of a salesman putting the iPhone in a blender then turning it on, this made it one of the most watched video clips on the internet. The blender salesman obviously had a high disregard for Apple’s new iPhone and wanted to take the opportunity to not only show off the blenders capability, but show his critical review of the iPhone. This video quickly became widely popular even more so than the Blendtec blender he was selling, which was a strong indication that many other viewers felt the same way, or at least could relate to his humorous way of showing his dissatisfaction in Apple’s new iPhone.

Keep Working It, Steve Jobs

In addition to the Blendtec salesman’s unique review, you can visit Cnet.com to read several high tech opinions from a geeks assessment of the product, but be prepared, these reviews can be harder to understand due to the terminology and slang. Probably the best Apple iPhone reviews are done by the average person and you can find many to choose from on the internet. To do this just type in ” Apple iPhone reviews ” in your desired internet search engine, then you will have an ample amount of reviews to check out.

Cara Volle wrote a review on Helium.com that you might want to check out. It begins, “Sorry Steve Jobs, but I hate your effing iPhone”, that’s about all I can reprint here. Many of these reviews are not even close to Pulitzer Prize winning material, nonetheless they show that the iPhone sparks the imagination on the possibilities for what a well develop device would be like.

Because the cost of the Apple iPhone was more than expected and the fact that consumers are only allowed to go through AT&T for the network, many customers were unhappy right away. The iPhone camera quality was somewhat disappointing because of it’s less than stellar picture quality, and the new video capability which nearly everyone was excited about, still has several ’kinks’ to be worked out. People also began to notice very quickly, that the iPhone gets hot to-the-touch when using it for extended periods, which has caused many to worry about it’s safety. Another alarming fact is that well known computer security specialist have now found ways to hack into the Apple iPhone, which means others could do the same.

Consumers are the best ’testing ground’ for what was thought to be a public ready device, because if there is anything wrong someone will definitely find it. You need to wait for at least a year after their release for these bugs to be resolved somehow.
