We all know that cell phone is one of the most essential things that we must have in order for us to survive with our day to day routines, coupled with the regular hustle and bustle around us. But another great thing about having a cell phone is that it also connects us with the people that we love or made everything for us easier because if we need to immediately to with someone regarding, let us say, business matters, all we have to do is press one button and presto!

But on the other hand, even if there has been many upgrading and high-tech features that has been added to cell phones like the iPhone which is pretty much the craze today, problems could not be prevented from happening. One of the most popular problems with regards to iPhone is the iPhone activation that concerns a lot of people and people are continuously complaining about it. And to give light to the problem of iPhone activation, here are some of the reasons that were given by AT&T who is the only service provider for that phone.

Reasons For Problems

Since the launch of iPhone, it instantly became a craze that everyone would like to own a piece of it but after that, more and more people has found out that what they have bought is nothing but an expensive paperweight because they were having problems with the iPhone activation. AT&T has explained that one of the top reasons why there have been problems with regards to iPhone activation is because of the overloaded servers as large number of customers has tried to activate their iPhone the first weekend it was released.

And people became angry, stating to different blogs that they paid for nothing and because of the problems with regard to iPhone activation, even the alarm clocks would not work. Also, in relation with the problems of iPhone activation, those that have corporate accounts may also experience delays because AT&T needs authorization from the telecommunications manager at their company to switch them to an individual account.

But then, all is well that ends well because AT&T has taken the necessary actions to improve the technology that involves the iPhone activation but still, it leaves us the impression that they were not prepared enough to handle this kind of pressure with regards to handling their customers. Now, this would make you think twice of switching to another network just for the sake of having the latest craze in cell phone.

Even if the iphone can be considered one of the best products nowadays, a lot has still been said about the iphone problems. Most of the consumers’ response on the launch of the iphone has been positive. However, there are negative feedbacks as well coming from consumers who have discovered quite a number of hardware or software iphone problems.

Falling a bit short from perfect, the iphone problems include the disappearance of Java or Flash on some applications. Since these two platforms are very popular on watching web videos, there are a number of iphone owners who are having a hard time viewing videos.

Moreover, the iphone’s 2.0 megapixel camera is out-of-date. In fact, it is lower than the latest 5 megapixel camera phones released. On this area, Apple is making iphone users pixel envy.

It is remembered that before the release of the newest generations of iPods shuffle, the iPod classic, and the iPod touch, MP3s stored on the phone can’t be used as ringtones. Other major iphone problems include not starting up at all and difficulty in activating the phone with the iTunes. Apple, however, has been quick to respond to the customers and was more than happy to replace defective iphone units.

The inability of iphone to sync with the Mac, PC, and other corporate servers pose another iphone problem. This is one concern that businessmen are not particularly happy about. They can’t access their corporate email servers through iphones. What would they ever do without emails? As of this time, there is no official report that iphones will soon have this synching capability. Consumers remain hopeful though. With the kind of technology we have now, everything is deemed possible.
