You know what it’s like. You wake up in the morning and look in the mirror to see new pimples on your face. Acne is a common skin problem, but one that is surprisingly difficult to deal with at times. Unfortunately, there is no easy, fool proof way of getting rid of acne, but I can share a few tips that I’ve learned about.

The first key to remember is that you should always be washing your face. Oil and dirt will cause acne by clogging up your pores. By using cleansers and astrigents to wash away this oil and dirt.

One important thing to remember: never pop your pimples. This might seem like a way to sole your immediate problem, but it can lead to unslightly scarring later on.

Make sure that you keep your hands away from your face. If you touch your face, you transfer acne forming dirt and oils. If you are going to touch your face with your hands, wash them first.

What you choose for your diet can be an important step in the fight against acne. It seems that certain fat rich foods can worsen acne. Oddly enough, some research shows that healthy fats like omegas 3s can help prevent acne. Omega 3 is commonly available in the form of fish oil supplements.

If things get really bad, you might need to go see a dermatologist. They have special medicines and treatments that might work better for you. Consider that these treatment mights have unwanted side effects. If it's bad enough it might be worth it you though.

There are also natural acne remedies to consider. These include various herbs and treatments. It is very possible that these may work but I have not used them.

Overall, there is no fool proof way of getting rid of acne. However, you can keep things from getting worse by following these instructions.
