Glamour photography- How To Take Your Best Shot

Glamour photography involves the subject being entirely comfortable with the photographer. You need to be able to trust the photographer and be upfront about your expectations for the photo shoot beforehand. You can choose to have the photographs taken in a studio for more privacy or at a location to add a contextual feel to the pictures. While you may have an idea of what you want the photographs to look like, you may also want to ask for input and listen to the suggestions of the photographer for what will look best.
Glamour shots are often taken vertically instead of horizontally so that the eye of the viewer is immediately drawn to the face of the model. You can also bring certain props and articles of clothing to be used during the shoot but make sure that the colors and themes do not clash with the background. You also need to pay attention to lighting since shadows and blurriness will be able to convey particular moods strongly.
Ask your photographer to focus on your eyes, as much as possible. Even slight tilts and changes in position could alter the look of glamour photography considerably. You’re your make-up as natural as possible unless the theme of the glamour shot calls for more exaggerated looks.
