The truly amazing thing about fine art nature photography is what it provokes and inspires . An image is seen of something incredibly beautiful and it makes you feel that you are right there - you feel like a part of that photograph - it puts you in awe of the photo . And this is exactly the impression photographers wish to instill on everyone and anyone who see their work .

The impression that photography of nature make on every individual is subjective as photography happens to be. If the same photograph of fine art is viewed by three people , the impressions they have may be quite different . This photography can make a bad impression on one person , the other person may get a good impression and a totally different impression on the third person .

Take a photo of a duck in its natural habitat . One person looks at it and immediately comments how beautiful the colorings in the duck’s wings are . They may mention that the crisp clear reflection is so great that it makes it look that a duck is right there with the other duck. The water drops that cling to the duck’s body appear as tiny diamonds lying on the brown feathers of the duck . Another person may see the duck photo and says that the water looks murky and how the duck seems to look lonely . A third person may shrug and state … “it’s a duck.”

The photographer of the photo definitely hopes that his photography makes more of an impression than a simple shrug of the shoulders and a comment like, “it’s a duck.” But that’s the beauty of how nature photography leaves its impression - open, honest and subjective . For those who are nature enthusiasts, this photography becomes part of their life .

Fine art nature photography takes the viewer to that place . If you see a beautiful photo of waves crashing against jagged rocks long enough , you feel like you are there - you almost feel the breeze on your cheeks, hear the water and smell the salt as it crashes on the rocks . This is the type of impression this type of photography is supposed to give you .

We incorporate photographs of nature by hanging them on the wall at home, used as computer backgrounds, and even worn on t-shirts . Impressions of fine art nature photography - whether good, bad or indifferent - allows everyone to have an opinion of what they dislike and like. These photos make an everlasting impression .
