Which digital camera is good for fast shooting and clear pictures? It would be the Nikon CoolPix S510. This camera has controls for manual shooting and automatic for fast “spur of the moment pictures.” The camera is a good price with three times optical zoom and six times digital zoom. This best camera for the money and this best cameras 2009 should help.

Can you name at least three problems with the Canon PowerShot SD750 Digital Elph Camera? If you can’t, then maybe you shouldn’t even be considering buying one. I’m not suggesting, that the SD750 is a terrible camera, I’m just suggesting that you should know what your getting before you buy it. Knowing the flaws in a digital camera (even a Canon) before you buy is the key factor in your after purchase satisfaction. Let’s consider some of the problems with the SD750 Digital Elph.

You want a camera that is easy to use and has a few functions like the professional cameras. You want a digital camera that you can point and shoot for that “all of a sudden picture” and a camera that allows you to take some time and set up the picture.

What will you use it for? Are you planning to use it for capturing your family’s precious moments or you dream about becoming a digital artist?

Batteries are the scourge of this age of gadgets, and the Powershot A570IS is one of the major offenders. This thing chews through batteries like crazy. Customers have been reporting problems with the A570IS draining batteries after taking as few as 20 pictures. Canon claims you should be able to get about 130 pictures with regular alkaline batteries. It seems pretty much impossible these days, to get a camera under $300 with a decent rechargeable battery pack. Batteries are becoming the printer cartridges of the camera world.

Speaking of dim light, unless you are shooting a still subject or you can lean your camera against something steady, like a bar, wall or lighting pole, you should use the flash, or your photos will come out blurry. The focusing can sometimes be annoyingly slow in low light, and you cannot afford to wait a couple of seconds if you want to immortalize a candid scene.

I’d have a hard time justifying the D300, when I could save up to $500 for an equivalent Canon, or really spoil myself with a full frame temptress at an extremely competitive price.

Canon also issued a statement back in 2005 stating that some of the CCDs that were used caused images to become distorted or not visible. This problem comes from the wiring becoming undone because of humidity and high heat.
