Making a good first impression is one of the things that should be foremost in your mind when you are reading beauty tips. If you want to change the way people look at you, you just need to make a few easy changes. Whether you are going for job interview or on a date, these are the types of things that can impact your future. It does pay to take care of them.

The following are just a few handy beauty tips that will keep you looking confident and put-together:

* First Impression Beauty Tip #1: No Chips in the Armor! - Okay, not really your armor. Its really important to watch your nails. Well manicured nails really are one of the very fist things people will notice. Usually, the first thing you do when meeting new people is shake their hand. If you do not have time for touch-ups, then try a clear lacquer to keep nails shiny but that won’t show the wear and tear as quickly.

Use the same rule for your toes. People will definitely look at your feet if you have on open-toed shoes or sandles. You really don’t want to have gross calluses or chipped polish either. Before you go out you don’t have time for a spa-pedi? If you wanna be safe just wear shoes that the toes are closed.

* Beauty Tips for First Impressions #2: Use cosmetics appropriate for your age - Everybody loves a little glitter from time to time. But glitter cosmetics really aren’t the greatest look for a job interview. Watch out for hidden sparkles in lip gloss. These can literally crawl all over your face and make it look like you got glammed up for the club before you headed into work. Also, these sparkles will rub off on others even if they mean for them too. Just ask any guy, they will tell you its not a good thing.

* Beauty Tips for First Impressions #3: The Prize is Where You Keep Your Eyes - One of the very first things people will notice about you is your eyes. For a first meeting you should keep the makeup light. This really does not mean you need to go without.
