First thing you should do is to create a timeline of the events of the wedding and then list down all the shots that you have in mind for each event that will happen.This will allow you to stay organized on a day that will be very hectic. The next thing you want to make sure you do is have a backup for all the important equipment you will use. You don’t know how many times equipment has failed in my San Diego photographer business.By bringing backups of all the things you would use you would be able to continue working even if one of the equipments of your camera would be broken.And you can save your face from being embarassed and losing some customers in the process. There is no worse feeling than the feeling of not being able to take pictures.
Last tip I can give is that you must know when to take charge during the shoot.A wedding is a very stressful and hectic ady as mentioned a while ago.If you are not able to take charge then your job would not be as good.But if you can take charge then you would not miss any of the shots that you are planning to take.Because if you do not impose yourself to position yourself in any way to get the shot you want then you would not be able to complete the shots that you want taken.
