Those who suffer from chronic fatigue insomnia know how frustrating the disorder can be. Imagine being tired yet not being able to sleep. You can’t function because you’re too tired, but you also can’t function because you’re not getting adequate sleep. It’s enough to drive even the sanest person crazy. There is help available, though, and it’s in the form of a sleep specialist. A sleep specialist will monitor while you sleep, or try to sleep, and will try to find out the causes for your chronic fatigue insomnia so that he or she can work on treating you so that you can finally get a good night’s sleep for once.

Some Causes

What would be some chronic insomnia causes? Well, it could be any number of things that are causing you to stay up nights. It could be that you’re eating foods that are too sugary and the excess energy, which you don’t need, is keeping you up; it could be that you have a thyroid problem that is making you too jittery; or it could be the fact that you have high levels of anxiety due to problems at work, home or school. These types of chronic insomnia causes can be cured or treated, but first it’s important for your sleep specialist to find the true causes for why you just cannot sleep.

Lay Down And Relax

A sleep specialist who is trying to find out why you suffer from chronic fatigue insomnia will invite you into his or her lab and have you lie down on a bed. You will be hooked up to machines that will monitor your heart rate, your brain functions, as well as other vital signs. The result will be that he or she will be able to determine what’s going on when you’re trying unsuccessfully to go to sleep at night. Chronic fatigue insomnia is a perplexing disorder, as you feel tired but just cannot sleep. It really doesn’t make sense. But a sleep specialist will hopefully make sense of it for you and will hopefully cure you of the disorder so that you can get adequate sleep and function once more as a normal human being.

Find a sleep specialist in your area and schedule a night to spend in the lab so that you can be tested. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones to find out what’s truly bothering you so that you can be free of this problematic chronic fatigue insomnia issue once and for all.
