Anxiety attacks, known as panic attacks in health circles, are periods of intense panic or fear. One minute you are fine, the next minute you could have an anxiety attack completely without warning.
Anxiety attacks usually last about ten minutes, and they seldom last more than a half hour. Those few minutes can feel like an eternity, the fear is so intense that feel like you might die. The physical symptoms during an attack are sometimes so severe you can believe you are having a heart attack. The anxiety attack is over, now what, when is the next one, where will I be.
