Representative Cody Banks: A geeky, shy fifteen year old (Muniz) who is secretly a junior spy for the CIA is designated to befriend the cute daughter of a scientist building a secret weapon for a wicked organization. This fun filled, big joke mix of Bond, Spy Kids, and Men in Black is an adolescent boy’s fantasy materialize real, bundled with hot babes, cool automobiles, intense games action, and hightech devices galore. Cast includes Frankie Muniz, Hilary Duff, Angie Harmon, Keith David, Ian McShane, Arnold V osloo, Cynthia Stevenson, Daniel Roebuck, Darrell Hammond, and Martin Donovan. (102 minutes, 2003)

The Sellout: Small town newspaper editor Pidgeon finds himself in over his head while he tries to get the wares on corrupt sheriff Gomez. Cast includes Walter Pidgeon, John Hodiak, Audry Totter, Paula Raymond, Cameron Mitchell, Karl Malden, Everett Sloane, and Thomas Gomez. (83 minutes, 1952)

Rubin and Ed: Odd odyssey of 2 gentlemen on a mission to bury a deseased cat. Can they ever find the right spot? Glover once made a notorious appearance on David Letterman’s Television show playing the identical personality he does here. Cast includes Crispin Glover, Howard Hesseman, Karen Black, Michael Green, and Brittney Lewis. (92 minutes, 1992)

Belle de Jour: Bunuel’s wry and upsetting story of a virgirial newlywed who works the night switch in a high-style Parisian brothel, unbeknownst to her spouse. Bunuel’s recipe of stunning topic belies the acute humor of his script (cowritten with JeanClaude Catriere). Cast includes Catherine Deneuve, Jean Sorel, Michel Piccoli, Genevieve Page, Francisco Rabal, and Pierre Clementi. (100 minutes, 1967)

Only Two Pan Play: Well-intentioned filming of the Kingsley Amis novel That Undecided Sensation (adjusted by Bryan Forbes), yearning for fast giggles instead of satire. Peter Vendors is a librarian flirting with a local counleman?s wife. Will they take things to far? Cast includes Peter Vendors, Mai Zetterling, Virginia Maskell, Richard Attenborough, and Kenneth Griffith. (106 minutes, 1962)

Season of Passion: Classy research of human being relations; MIlls and Borgnine are country workers who each year makes a trip to the city for their fling with Baxter and Lansbury. Cast includes Anne Baxter, John MiIls, Angela Lansbury, Ernest Borgnine, and Janette Craig. (93 minutes, 1959)

Hold Back Tomorrow: This is another of Haas’ oddball cheaply made dramas. This one is about a condemned killer who weds a gal on the day before he is put to death. Cast includes Cleo Moore, John Agar, Frank de Kova, Harry Guardino, and Jan Englund. (75 minutes, 1955)

Thief of Baghdad: Reeves looks for the elusive blue rose so he could wed the Sultan’s baby girl. This is nothing like the Sabu rendition, although this is a good piece of work. Cast includes Steve Reeves, Giorgia Moll, Arturo Dominici, and Edy Vessel. (90 minutes, 1961)

Slattery’s Hurricane: Weather reporter Widmark, in midst of storm, looks back on his life. Damell and Pool are the two women he has loved. Cast includes Richard Widmark, Linda Damell, Veronica Pool, John Russell, and Gary Merrill. (83 minutes, 1949)
