Harry Potter Movies - Way To Christianity…
Wednesday, December 31st, 2008    Subscribe To Our Feed“The story of Harry Potter is an allegory: It is written and packaged to look like fantasy when, in truth, it is a carefully written true description of the training and work of an initiate in an occult order.” - J.K. Rowling
“Days before the release of the seventh and final novel in the series, youth leaders are being told they could use the popularity of the Potter books and films as a ‘launch pad’ for exploring Christian themes.”
“The story of Harry Potter is, and always was, a Christian allegory - a fictionalized modern day adaptation of the life of Christ, intended to introduce his character to a new generation….In spite of this unbridgeable chasm between occultism and Christianity, Joanne Rowling insists that she is a believer. She has kept the details of her faith a secret, explaining that such information would disclose the mysterious ending of her popular story. Now that the final book is out, there’s no need to guess. We know the end of the story — one that apparently corresponds to the author’s beliefs. So what does it tell us?
Rowling created a hero with many noble characteristics, and in this last book, Harry willingly gives his life. Responding to a message he magically received from Hogwarts’ former Headmaster Dumbledore through Professor Snape’s memories, the young wizard walks unarmed up to the evil wizard Voldemort, who points his wand at him and projects a killing curse. Harry falls down, apparently dead.
With this final book came the clues to Rowling’s “Christian” beliefs. Ponder these comparisons:
1. No need for the cross. J.K. Rowling wants us to understand that there is no need for the cross in order for us to believe in God. That braveness and power will come if we continously believe without any one or anything making us to remember it.
2. Victory through human effort. We can say that harry is really powerful. And so do Jesus. But most of their victory is because on the people that surrounds them. Jesus loves all the people so he gives his life for them. Harry’s strength is from his friends and special ones.
3. Giving Life For Other. Harry willingly give his life for the safety of others at the end. He died but was ressurect again to continue battling the evil. Exaactly what happen to Jesus.
4. Source Of Power. It is not really Harry or Jesus that is powerful from the start. it is there parents. A the start jesus power comes from God. And Harry’s power comes from the blood of his parents that shed.
