ABC TV is one of the pioneers of online TV. To help introduce people to the online TV possibilities, a new Spreety video shows the top tips and tricks for maximizing the ABC online viewing experience.
The top tips include using the ABC Player settings to turn off the transition animations, turn on theater mode, and turn on the auto-continue after ad break. A wish would be for ABC to add the option to automatically launch in full screen. When in full screen, if the ‘Press the “ESC” key to exit full screen’ message does not disappear, just move the mouse and it will be gone in a second. Many episodes from many seasons are available for free.
Among the ABC TV shows online are ABC World News, According to Jim, The Bachelorette, Better Off Ted, Brothers & Sisters, Castle, Cupid, Dancing with the Stars, Dating in the Dark, Desperate Housewives, Extreme Makeover Home Edition, General Hospital, The Goode Family, Grey’s Anatomy, Here Come the Newlyweds, I Survived A Japanese Game Show, In the Motherhood, Life on Mars, Lost, Private Practice, Samantha Who?, Scrubs, Supernanny, The Superstars, Surviving Suburbia, Ugly Betty, The Unusuals, The View, What Would You Do?, and Wipeout.
There are also clips from 20/20, America’s Funniest Home Videos, Defying Gravity, FlashForward, The Oprah Winfrey Show, Shark Tank, and Wife Swap.
“If people just knew how much TV is online, there would be mass abandonment of the old TV”, according to Spreety co-founder Ron Laughton. “We created Spreety to educate people about the legal places to watch free TV online.”
