If you are searching for free auditions than do not fear, you can go to many places where their are a lot of auditions and casting calls that are free. Trade magazines like Back Stage and Variety are a good place to start. Those are awesome resources to get both casting calls and free auditions.

Another great place to find free auditions is craiglist the popular website. Look in the jobs category which has a Video and TV jobs sub section. You can see a lot of auditions and castings if you go there. My favorite thing about Craigslist is that the new nobs and auditions are updated every day.

Looking up free auditions and castings in a search engine such as Google, Bing, or MSN is another option that works well. A lot of pages will pop up with information on free castings and auditions. Some of the pages have really bad site design which I found confusing and annoying, but it was minor. I had to search through a lot of junk to find the good information. I can’t really complain though because I didn’t pay for it.

My last piece of advice does not include info on free auditions, but is something you may want to consider nonetheless. It is considering getting an agent. Be warned that you do have to pay an agent a portion of the money you earn for finding you castings and auditions. That may sound sucky, but an agent could be worth it since they find you jobs. So it’s definitely something to at least consider, but even if you don’t get one you now know where to find free auditions.
